Breakfast with Girlfriends in Christ (BGC) is a AFM Sunnyside SGC born breed Young Women Mentoring Ministry expanding to the world. The Young women coming together from different races and backgrounds, being mentored, Fellowship together and Seeking God face. Galatians 6:2
The ministry was founded by Esther Mmope in 2010 God laid in her heart that young women needed more separate fellowship where they are taught the principles of salvation & creating sisterhood How God can use a young woman in this era!
Our ministry developed and grew ,we saw the need to divide the ladies into 2 groups in 2014
We have the BGC QUEENS (19yrs and older) and the BGC TEENS(15-18yrs)
Our vision – is to see more young women in this generation being Saved,
Baptised in the Spirit, having a deeper relationship with God.
having an attitude of Christ by edifying each other, praying,
fellowshiping together,encouraging one
another,talking and sharing about what we
have found to be the deepest hardships of life James 5:13-15;Phillipians 2
Our Mission – To help those who are in need,
represent our Lord Jesus Christ in our
community
Our service to the community around is visit the young ladies the orphanage homes where we sit with them, get to know them, share the word and bless them with sanitary towels
We have a service where we pack food and serve those who are homeless and hungry at the parks or the streets
We also minister by helping to clean church windows

Our teachings & empowerment sessions to young women includes
1.The Word of God, Prayer and Fasting, Giving
2.Self confidence/Self-worth
3.Self love/ self care
4.Etiquette
5.Speak up against abuse & violence
6.Teachings on work, education, careers & money
We have so many activities as to how we share the word
- We have dedicated speakers who come to our services on the 1st and 2nd Saturday of the month
- We have a cell group on Wednesdays, where we visit each other and pray together
- We have “my sister’s keeper” program that helps us get to know each other
- We have Bible quizzes just another way to encourage to read the word of God and keep it interesting for the young
- We have awareness empowerment months in our calendar like mental health issues & Money, how to save it when you are still young
- We have social media platforms what’s app group, instagram, Facebook where we share events of our services, daily motivations, celebration of birthdays, graduations, etc
Our services are held 2 Saturdays a month from 10am to 12pm
Posters are advertised on all social media platforms as to the venue and time
I invite you to, come and experience,enjoy God with other young women, come and grow in your faith be touched by the Holy Spirit to join us in this program all to the Honour and Glory of our
